NewsDiablo 3 expansion being planned
As expected, an expansion for Diablo 3 is currently in the works. During Activision Blizzard's Q3 2012 earnings call, in which the company reported "better-than-expected" results, Blizzard CEO Mike Morhaime said that an expansion for the popular RPG is being "planned."
"We do have a plan," Morhaime told investors. Unfortunately, he didn't offer any other details regarding the actual content or launch window.
"I don't have any timeline to talk about," he said. "I think that the most important thing for us always comes down to the quality of the expansion and gameplay, and so that will be a big factor in terms of driving our schedule."
Last month, Blizzard released patch 1.0.5 for Diablo 3.
