NewsPS3 firmware update 4.31 released
Sony has released firmware update 4.31 for the PlayStation 3 which is completely optional, but highly suggested.
The update doesn't do too much, but Sony still recommends you download it to "keep your system updated with the latest firmware, as these updates further improve overall system stability and help provide you with the best online entertainment experience possible."
Sony hasn't yet listed the exact changes, but it's being said that the update addresses certain issues with Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD, a title that is only available in Japan.
It's been a rather quick turnaround for Sony who just last week released the more substantial 4.30 update, which combined PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita Trophies among other things.
